About this press

Can I omit varnish and lamination?

Xeikon states that TITON is durable without protective varnish. Finished packaging may still need a barrier or lamination for storage, sealing and transport. We decide after testing the paper and finished pack.

What needs checking for food packaging?

Check the whole construction: paper, coatings, toner, barrier layer and food-contact conditions. TITON durability does not replace these checks. Include storage, sealing and destination-market requirements.

Choose a configuration

Send the coated paper and flat packaging layout. Include run size, sealing temperature and time, and product storage conditions.

Finishing after printing

Select the operations needed after printing for your substrate, format and run length.

For TX500 packaging, match finishing to the 508 mm print width, substrate and product. Cutting, forming and gluing are specified separately.

Confirm the format, substrate, operations and throughput for your products and run length.
