Textured paper and short runs

Beer labels use natural and textured papers. Xeikon’s examples cover small breweries, seasonal beers and special editions: shorter runs with different designs.

Application and recycling

The guide describes a self-adhesive applicator on a bottling line. In countries where labels must wash off during recycling, self-adhesive material manufacturers develop specialist adhesives.

Demonstration sample substrate

The sample was printed with dry toner on Raflagloss WSA RP30 Honey Glassine 85; the finishing details list the Xeikon LCU series. These details refer to the guide's example.
