## Labeling a challenging surface

The guide describes the difficulty of adhering a label to the low-surface-energy, textured surface of a tire. After application, temperature, humidity and abrasion during transport and storage affect it.

Application Guide 2026 V4 print, p. 50

## Readability and appearance

Carbon black can migrate from the tire and contaminate the label. The guide links the condition of the label to how the product is perceived in the retail setting.

## Information and identification

The example combines required technical information, including energy efficiency and noise, with shelf presentation. A unique barcode or QR code is mentioned as an anti-counterfeiting measure in some countries. The sample specifies PP Top White S692N BG40WH FSC and Panther HD LED inkjet.
