## Application and process

Heat-transfer decoration is applied after injection molding or blow molding; it becomes part of the plastic container and retains the look of direct printing. The guide describes containers ranging from small to large.

## Where digital printing helps

Compared with conventional heat-transfer decal printing, the dry-toner digital process is described as a way to avoid setup costs, shorten lead times and produce short runs in different sizes with consistent color.

## Production configuration in the example

The listed equipment includes Xeikon X-800, CDigital 7-15 film with an adhesive layer for ABS plastic and a release layer, CMYK + white toner, Xeikon 3500 and United Silicone equipment for heat-transfer decoration.
