## Labelling at packaging

The section describes labels for fresh fruit, vegetables and meat, applied during packaging. The example shows product labelling with a heat-sensitive layer.

Application guide 2026 V4 print, p. 62

## Variable information

Weight, price and expiry date are added at packaging; the sample also shows batch, origin and traceability fields.

Application guide 2026 V4 print, p. 62

## Pre-printed blank

The guide describes a branded pre-printed blank with a heat-sensitive layer that requires setup expertise. The example specifies dry toner and BG832 THERMAL 200HD PLUS FSC 2045N-BG40BR. Mention of Xeikon food safe solutions in the guide alone does not prove that every finished construction is suitable for every type of food contact.
